I highly recommend Johnson’s Automotive. I moved away from Big Rapids a few months ago but I still bring my car to Johnson’s to do regular maintenance and any repairs.Last week I couldn’t get my 1997 Toyota started. Over the phone they helped me to figure out the problem so I could get the car started and bring it into the shop. They are always friendly, honest and they do good work at a fair price. At Johnson’s they go the extra mile!!!

This is my first time writing a google review, but felt compelled to because of their excellent service. I am not automobile literate- at all- so I always feel apprehensive when going into a dealership, automotive repair shop or even when getting my oil changed. These guys are nothing but trustworthy and VERY fairly priced. I had 4 tires and a couple of wheel bearings replaced. I live 90 minutes away, but go to school in Big Rapids, and will probably drive the 90 minutes even when I'm done with school if my car needs to be serviced again.

I needed to have a check system light evaluated on a 2007 Lexus RX400h. The customer service was outstanding. Bill provided a clear explanation of the problem and rapid service to fix the problem. This is truly a professional group. I’d recommend them to anyone needing service.

These guys did a great job. I set an appointment came in and they were able to check my truck while I waited. In and out less than hour. Great service friendly staff. Definitely will use these guys for future repairs as well.
