Called for an estimate. Was told 40 dollars for a diagnoses two days ago. Called back for a double chexk on the estimate. Got told 80 dollars today for a diagnoses. Then told something about a 1500 dollar differential rebuild when asking about wheel bearings. Very dishonest and very rude over the phone. I will never do business with this place because of this.
It is not our policy to change anything up on you. The information the second time around was leading us to believe the vehicle needed a deeper look into the issue. This is why we changed to a diagnostic rate that is more money, because it requires more time. I am sorry if that was not clear. We said if it is not as simple as a wheel bearing and needs all the bearings in the differential replaced, it may be something like $1500 to do that. Also the rear wheel bearing ride on the axle shafts and if it needs shafts and bearings it may be $1500 for that repair. We should have never given you a quote like that over the phone, because we need to diagnose the issue. We should have stuck to what we had said a half dozen times, "we need to look into the issue before we can tell you how much it is to fix it" some of these Dodge rear differentials are $3000 used. I am sorry we did not have the right answers for you. The offer still stands If you would be willing to pay for us to look at it we will give you the answers you need or desire. Thank you
