Needed my AC in my 2019 Jetta repaired. So blessed to have found Johnson's Automotive Repair. Dealership was the only place I could find to repair it with it being foreign until I found Johnson's. Lee and their employees were awesome. It was a Friday coming from Lansing and going to Higgins lake. I got off at Mt pleasant for a break. When I turned major noise with steering. A rod had broken and I had no way to get to Higgins for work. They stayed a bit past closing to fix it enough to travel and me being safe. If you break down close to Mt pleasant I highly recommend them. Thank you Lee for everything!

We were on our way to our northern place in Branch, Michigan when our transmission coolant line decided to snap. We called around to different auto repair shops in Big Rapids before the tow service arrived so we knew who would be willing to look at it. We arrived at Johnson’s with in an hour of closing. They were nice enough to move a vehicle out of one of their bays to allow one of their mechanics to look at ours. The part that would be needed would take one or two days to get into the shop. They were able to give us a temporary fix to get us on our way safely to our destination and eventually on our way back home, another 250 miles. We can’t thank them enough for their kindness, knowledge and professionalism. We are safe at home now and waiting on the part to arrive at our local mechanics garage. Thank you for everything.

If we had to have car issues on our weekend getaway, we are so fortunate it happened near Big Rapids. We called Johnsons and they immediately worked us in and were so accommodating. They figured out the issue right away and secured the parts to get us back on the road the same afternoon. They are about the people as much as the car!

A 3 hour job ended up with me not having my car for 2 nights. When I picked it up the ABS and traction control lights are on. They were replacing my wheel bearing. Also the receptionist was a little rude on the phone.

Wow- this auto shop is amazing! They go above and beyond to serve the customer and they truly care about people. We were traveling from Indiana to Traverse City and had major computer issues with our vehicle. We are so fortunate it happened near Big Rapids because we called them and they immediately said “sure- bring it in, we can help.” They got us on our way and I am certain it inconvenienced what they otherwise had planned for their workday. Thank you is not nearly enough.
